Generative Conflict and Trust Intensive

When mission-driven leadership teams navigate complexity and uncertainty, challenging each other is essential for effective collaboration. However, tolerance for conflict varies wildly among leaders—making meetings swing between passive “silent vigils” and aggressive “slamfests.”

This program helps leadership teams establish psychological safety, build individual trustworthiness, and transform friction into productive, generative conflict that drives strategic execution.

Conduct a targeted intake to analyze how unaddressed or mismanaged conflict is currently impacting strategic execution.

Learn the mechanics of trust, assess personal capacity for trust-building, and identify specific areas to improve personal trustworthiness. Delve into systemic and cultural issues that impact safety and explore what your leadership team can do to establish and maintain a brave space.

Examine individual behaviour styles under stress and co-create a clear and sustainable leadership team working agreement for managing conflict productively.

Facilitate a structured retrospective to evaluate the effectiveness of the team’s working agreement and refine daily practices.

Time Commitment: One 1-hour sponsor intake session, two 3-hour team masterclasses, and one 1-hour retrospective.
Format: Delivered entirely remote over Zoom. In-person delivery of working sessions also possible.
The Team’s Commitment: Success requires candour, self-reflection on personal leadership habits, prompt attendance, and a dedication to undertake agreed-upon practices.

Leadership teams struggling with stressful interactions, communication breakdowns, or avoidance tactics. For teams who are ready to embody a culture of safety and trust.
