1:1 Coaching: Wholeness and Climate Work

  • The climate emergency continues to emerge from a lack of collective conviction and leadership. We see this everywhere when leaders actively seek to divide, deny, dismiss, or minimize the causes and impacts of climate change.
  • The climate leaders of today are having to do battle with a long tradition and culture of ineffective leadership cultures and practices, in addition to having to develop and grow themselves and their organizations to operate safely and sustainably in a world that is bombarded daily with narratives of fear and contempt.
  • Climate leaders are grappling with healthy expressions of wholeness everyday in their work and life – to live and work with purpose – to embody their values genuinely and translate this into consistent action. Such leaders recognize the need for ongoing sensing into and making sense of themselves and their impact and this includes: their thoughts, their feelings, their intentions, and their actions.

Bi-weekly to monthly cadence of six coaching sessions (60 minutes each) – including:

  • Intake session (1-2 sessions as needed) – to establish the bounds and goals of coaching.
  • 3-4 developmental / emerging needs sessions framed within the goals of coaching.
  • Closing (1 session) to reflect on impacts of coaching and next steps.
  • Self-Awareness: Coaching aims to provide framing and support for ongoing sensing into and making sense of self and impact and this includes accepting responsibility for: thoughts, feelings, intentions, and actions.
  • Tapping into New Ways of Knowing: Getting acquainted with old habits and entangled narratives that may be holding back new ways of knowing yourself and the world around you.
  • Authentic Expression: Coaching invites you to dive deeply into your unique leadership strengths while sensing into moments where “reactivity” emerges – developing greater ease of authentic expression during such times.
  • Purposeful Action: Coaching aims to tap into your inner wisdom – translating creativity and purpose into focused and consistent practices and action.
  • Full Developmental Coaching Program: This option is aimed that diving into the deep end of a focused topic. These programs are developmental and support uncovering new ways of doing and being that can meaningfully shift the topic for the client.
